I have been to Schnormeier Gardens many times and it has always been perfect. It is beautiful and serene. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature. The more you learn about the Gardens, the more you appreciate it and realize how much a part of local history it really is. A perfect day trip. Bring water and comfortable shoes. Be prepared for rolling hills. The restroom is well kept and located in the Welcome Center.
Stunning. If you can secure a ticket, you must go!! The grounds are beautiful, time flies there. The staff are so friendly and you’ll meet some of the Schnormeier family too. An above and beyond experience, crazy to think it’s in Ohio!
This was my first visit to the gardens and although it rained most of the day it was spectacular! I'm so glad to of experienced this magnificent marvel set on thirty three acres! It took me two hours to see everything. The art work was gorgeous and perfectly fit the gardens atmosphere. The volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting here! Thank you Tedd and Ann Schnormeier for this beautiful treasure for all of us to enjoy!
Absolutely stunning! We spent 2.5 hours walking around. Its 75 acres with separate areas that flow together. The gardens are only open to the public in June on the weekends. This year there were tickets and a $35 per car fee, which you could purchase through their website. The tickets were sold out for June 2021.
Beautiful Gardens and sculpture to explore all over the property. This was our first time here and I don't think I will come back every year, but it's definitely something all locals should do. The grounds are so well kept and tastefully done. You can just imagine how peaceful it would be to live here.
A friend invited me to go here. I was in awe of the beautiful grounds and the peacefulness. It is only open to the public during the month of June. I will go annually after seeing how nice and peaceful it is.
One of the best private garden in the world. A once a year opportunity to visit 75 acres garden in the month of June which has 10 lakes and variety of gardens. An amazing place to visit in the state of Ohio.
It’s definitely beautiful, but I’m giving it three stars since it’s only open one month in the year (June), Thursday through Sunday, 10am to 4 pm. You also have to have an advanced reservation (no walk-ins). Most of the time, it’s sold out. Seems a bit ridiculous to have something like this open for only a month in summertime. Autumn would be the perfect time of year to enjoy the amazing colors the season brings.
